The Transition Year Hospitality Training Workshop covers the following areas:

Introduction - what makes good service, personal hygiene, understanding of different departments in the hotels.
Customer Service - greeting and seating, taking orders, serving food, dealing with complaints, clearing the table, and presenting the bill.
Know Your Drinks - how to serve wine, tray service, take a drink order.
Know Your Food - special diets and allergies and how to upsell products from the menu.

The course consists of basic theory and the students will be taking part in practical situational training learning at first hand basic skills required for the industry.

On completion of the workshop students will receive a certificate of attendance from our company helping them in the future interviewing process.

Hospitality Skills Ireland will come to your school and set up a real work environment for your students i.e. a restaurant or alternatively host the workshop in one of their many partner hotels in the country.
