Improvisation, or Improv, is a form of comedic theatre in which the plot, characters and dialogue are all made up in the moment.

The workshop introduces Improv to the students, and shows them how using Improv can make conversations creative, fun and exciting...amongst other skills.

Many of the skills practiced in these workshops also facilitate the students' Key Skills.

Through this workshop, the students will learn:
- to create, and to trust their own creativity.
- to truly listen, both verbally and to the underlying emotion.
- how to communicate back
- to work with others.
- what makes things funny
- how to heighten the funny
- how Improv can be applied to everyday life, social situations
- turn group tensions into creative opportunities

Please see our website for more information.
2 hours per workshop, up to a maximum of three workshops per day. (Works with the school day timetable)

Maximum of 16 students per workshop.

We want both the teachers and the students to be satisfied, if not delighted and excited, with Improv.
If groups are too large, things can become rushed, or students don't get a real opportunity to try, amongst other issues.
Ultimately, it would act against what this workshop sets out to do.

However, we are willing to accommodate as things are rarely straight forward.

Through school application (school decides)

All workshops take place on location, i.e. we go to your school.
