Botanic Films is offering a choice of exciting courses in film-making to transition year students in Dublin City. At the end of each course, participants will have a portfolio of work. This portfolio will assist students should they wish to apply for an increasing number of third level Film, T.V. and Media Production courses once they have passed the Leaving Certificate Examination.
Workshops will be given over a period of three, four or five days.
A classroom must be made available for the duration of the workshop. On the last day of the course all films made by the class will be screened. Facilities for viewing videos would be desirable.
On Merit
These hands-on film making workshops are given on the school premises. In 2022, courses can only be provided to secondary schools in Dublin City.
