This EiSHT workshop is designed to develop skills, tools and wellbeing in the areas of self-awareness and intentional behaviour which form the foundations of mental and emotional resilience. There are a number of formats in which the programme can be participated in:
Workshops IN School -
Face to face: as part of a three to four hour workshop with groups, no greater than two classes together.
OR Online Workshop; we can complete this workshop through zoom over the course of a half day with interaction through breakout groups, padlet and kahoot.
Online Classes:
We acknowledge that not everyone has access to strong broadband or devices so this method allows for self-organised learning. Over the course of the school year, you will have full access to our 40 minute online classes for students to work through at their time and pace.
As an individual:
- Online After School Clubs: You can participate in our online weekly clubs - you can pop over to eisht.ie/shop to see what is currently available. We run mixed groups across junior and senior cycle where you have the opportunity to meet and discuss these topics with fellow students. The TY group can be extended to 13 weeks and used towards your personal skill for Gaisce bronze award.
We cover topics from learning & communication, guiding values, conflict, decision making, emotional intelligence, confidence and mental health. Everything that we do is supported by our worksheets, self-assessments, notes, affirmations, guided journaling and toolkit. Participants are supplied with a toolkit to boost their mental wellbeing, boost their resilience, optimism, confidence and receive a certificate of participation upon completion.
