Our TY Programme consists of: Careers Seminars, Work experience & Internships.

The IIMS is inviting Transition Year students from all over Ireland to complete their Work Experience placements with us and join our programme for the year!

At the Irish Institute of Music and Song (IIMS), we give you a real-life insight into a career in music.
On the TY Internship, you get to work directly with professional musicians and creative entrepreneurs while building life-long skills in a dynamic and inclusive working environment. Based in a brand-new campus in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, the IIMS is a non-profit arts organisation offering world-class education and performance experiences. TY students may work with us on a 2-week placement or 1 day per week, and all interns will gain extra training and skills as part of our Events team throughout the year.
