Re-Design Ireland is a full day workshop (9 to 4) exploring a range of environmental issues from a wide global view to the more local Irish issues.

Information session where students gain a new understanding of the planet, the beginning of life and how the planet works. Students learn about the rise of humans - becoming the dominant species on Earth - and how our exploitation of the Earth's resource's is leading to the increase of Natural disasters.

The Workshop then moves on to the sustainability section - after doing carbon footprint calculators students look at areas they can be more sustainable in the home, at school, and how the country as a whole can implement changes.

The final section after lunch is all about students putting what they learned into practice by producing a short video (approx 1 minute). Students are given a current environmental issue relevant in Ireland today that they must act out and edit, to play for the class by the end of the day. - This is the most enjoyable part of the day where the students have the opportunity to really get creative.
