UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential. Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

Before, during and after humanitarian emergencies. UNICEF is on the ground, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families.

And we never give up.

ACTIVISM (Apply Through Form on Website)

Become empowered with the skills, knowledge and strategies to be a powerful change-maker in your community. UNICEF offers young people the opportunity to participate in local activism through our week long activism training programme. This is ideal for a Transition Year Work Experience Week or Volunteerism week. The course is held on Fridays in Dublin, from 9:30-4pm.

At the end of the first day you will have created your own action plan to deliver in your school or community over the following week. This course can work well for students who live outside Dublin, as most of the week is spent in your school or community.

OFFICE SUPPORT (Apply By Email)

Gain practical experience within the UNICEF Ireland office. These spots are very limited and on specific dates. If you are interested in this programme, please email Vivienne@unicef.ie for available dates.
